He was born on January 17, 1980, in Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Nigeria. 9ice is known for his unique blend of traditional Nigerian music and contemporary Afrobeat, creating a style often referred to as “Afro Juju.”
9ice rose to prominence in the Nigerian music industry with the release of his debut album titled “Certificate” in 2007. The album contained hit songs like “Gongo Aso,” “Street Credibility,” and “Party Rider,” which became instant successes and gained him widespread acclaim.
