AKA Wins Another Afrimma Award

Deceased SA hip-hop artist, AKA has received another AFRIMMA honor posthumously.

AKA has continued to dominate South Africa’s Hip Hop music scene even after passing away. The well-known rapper received a nomination for the 10th African Muzik Magazine Awards (Afrimma)’s Best Male Southern Africa honor.

It put him up against notable musicians like the late Costa Titch, Maphorisa, Musa Keys, and Sjava. The star was declared as the winner of the category at the event held on September 17, 2023, at the prestigious Dallas Symphony Orchestra in Dallas, Texas, and hosted by his girlfriend Nadia Nakai.

He has now triumphed in an AFRIMMA three times. His fan base, The Megacy, declared his victory on the X app. They stated, “Thank You for Voting Legacy, AKA is the Best Male Southern African Artist of 2023 at Afrimma Awards. AKA has won this Award three times. “#Mega4AFRIMMA #LongLiveSupaMega,”
