Following Hilda Baci’s new record of 100 hours of non-stop cooking, Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke has taken to social media to demonstrate his culinary skills.
In a social media video, the governor was seen stirring a pot of spicy rice and fried chicken that he had made himself while addressing questions about his cuisine.
His son, who had captured the event, confirmed with his father that the dish smelled as amazing as it looked.
Baci, it should be noted, broke the Guinness World Record for ‘longest cooking time’ by an individual in the early hours of Monday.
Hilda, 27, eclipsed Indian chef Lata Tandon, who earned a Guinness World Record for cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes non-stop in 2019 to become the new “Guinness World Record” holder, according to Buzzyvibes.
On Monday, May 15, at 7:45 a.m., the Akwa Ibom-born chef shattered the record.
Remember that she began cooking on May 11th and plans to cook for 96 hours to set a new record.
The project, dubbed “Cook-a-thon,” received widespread support from Nigerians, including politicians and celebrities.
